Football Game Preview: Eisenhower Tigers vs. Andover Trojans

The Eisenhower Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Andover Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower has given up an average of 34 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-20, which was the final score in Eisenhower's tilt against Salina Central on Friday.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Andover over Arkansas City in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Trojans blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 31-0 final score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Trojans had established a 28-point advantage.

The win made it two in a row for Andover and bumps their season record up to 2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points in those games. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Eisenhower didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Andover in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 21-17 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Trojans' Noah Noyes, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
