Brawley came tearing into Thursday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to the Calipatria Hornets for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-21 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 67-17 win last Tuesday.

It was another big night for Bre Montano, who posted 24 points. Isabella Trujillo was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Brawley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points over those games. As for Calipatria, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Brawley nor Calipatria have any future games scheduled.
