Football Game Preview: Midtown Knights vs. Creekside Seminoles + How To Watch

The Midtown Knights will head out to square off against the Creekside Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Midtown will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Midtown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. The matchup between the Knights and Mays didn't end well, with the Knights falling 59-40. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Creekside strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Jackson, posting a 44-7 victory. Given the Seminoles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Jaguars are ranked 223rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Creekside's win came from a few key players Midtown will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Gary Walker, who rushed for 133 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Creekside also got help from Armani Hill, who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.

One reason for the win was Creekside's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 4.1 sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Tavarre Terrell got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Midtown's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Creekside, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.

Midtown was dealt a bruising 56-12 defeat at the hands of Creekside in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Knights were down 42-12.
