Liberty made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Central East, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Patriots fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 35-33 on Friday. The loss leaves the Patriots still looking for their first win of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Liberty lost, don't look at Gavin Parham. Despite the final result, he threw for 210 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 109 yards on only 11 carries. Parham's longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Elmo Whitten was Parham's top target, picking up 30 receiving yards, while also rushing for 111 yards and one score on only 11 carries.
