Baseball Recap: Forest Park Comes Up Short

Forest Park lost against Mays back in February of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Forest Park Panthers fell 8-4 to the Mays Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four runs.

Tyrese Jenkins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacoby Hendricks, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Forest Park is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6. As for Mays, they moved to 5-10 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Park will venture away from home to face off against Mays at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mays, they will face off against M.L. King at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
