Basketball Game Preview: Beachwood Bison vs. Trinity Trojans

The Beachwood Bison are taking a road trip to face off against the Trinity Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Beachwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Beachwood is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 59-49 victory over North on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 82-61 to Fairview. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 692nd, while the Warriors are ranked 174th).

Beachwood will need to focus on slowing down Princeton Warren, one of several Trinity players who made an impact when they last played. He posted five points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Campbell, who earned ten points.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Beachwood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Beachwood ended up a good deal behind Trinity in their previous matchup on January 6th, losing 60-41. Can the Bison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
