Baseball Game Preview: Heritage Preparatory Rams vs. Holy Spirit Prep Cougars

After both having extra time off, the Heritage Preparatory Rams and the Holy Spirit Prep Cougars will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Last Tuesday, Heritage Preparatory came up short against Atlanta Jewish Academy and fell 5-1.

Heritage Preparatory saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Garner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Holy Spirit Prep earned a 6-3 win over North Georgia HomeSchool last Thursday. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly three runs.

The team relied heavily on Anthony Lombardi, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Holy Spirit Prep's record is now 2-0. As for Heritage Preparatory, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Heritage Preparatory came up short against Holy Spirit Prep in their previous meeting last Monday, falling 7-4. Can Heritage Preparatory avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
