Servite extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 6-1. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the St. Bonaventure Seraphs 79-38. The Friars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Hugh Hannan had an outrageously good game as he shot 75% from the field on his way to 18 points. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high. Sonny Bhatia also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Servite was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

As for St. Bonaventure, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, St. Bonaventure still got an impressive performance from Adam Ayala, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 16 points and seven rebounds. Ayala is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. Walter Moore was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Servite has already played their next game, an 81-78 victory against Cypress on the 2nd. As for St. Bonaventure, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-46 defeat against Quartz Hill on the 1st.
