Basketball Recap: Reading Skates Past Carlisle with Ease

Reading lost to Carlisle back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Reading Red KNights claimed a resounding 61-31 victory over the Carlisle Thundering Herd. That 30 point margin sets a new team best for the Red KNights this season.

Reading has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Carlisle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Reading is taking a road trip to challenge Muhlenberg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Carlisle, they will be playing at home against Altoona at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Altoona's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 games.
