Football Recap: Iola Takes a Loss

Iola lost against Girard back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs took a blow against the Trojans, falling 41-7.

Iola's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Girard, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Iola will square off against Osawatomie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Girard, they will head out on the road to square off against Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
