Soccer Recap: Valley View Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Valley View was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and the Canyon Springs Cougars finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Valley View's draw gives them a new season record of 11-1-3. Meanwhile, Canyon Springs' record is now 8-4-1.

Valley View will welcome Poly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Valley View's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Canyon Springs, they will head out on the road to square off against Liberty at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Canyon Springs' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
