Golden Sierra has gone 9-1 against Highlands recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Golden Sierra Grizzlies will welcome the Highlands Scots at 4:00 p.m.

Golden Sierra is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Esparto just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Thursday. Neither they nor the Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Grizzlies happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 7th.

Meanwhile, Highlands sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Woodland Christian on Thursday.

Nevaeh Cortez was the driving force of Highlands' attack as she scored both of Highlands' goals, bringing her season total up to 33 goals.

Highlands pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three games. Golden Sierra's draw gives them a new season record of 13-5-3.
