Union came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged out the Owensville Dutchmen 8-6. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Owensville, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Union will head out to square off against Rolla at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Owensville, they will face off against Sullivan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
