Softball Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Takes a Loss

The St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings didn't have quite enough to beat the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors on Saturday and fell 10-9. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kendal Pernell made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Madison Green was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

St. Anne-Pacelli now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

St. Anne-Pacelli didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-5 defeat against Southland Academy on the 16th. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-0 win against Schley County on the 18th.
