Softball Recap: Valor Christian Eagles vs. Chaparral Wolverines

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valor Christian). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Chaparral Wolverines a 13-0 shutout on Wednesday. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Elizabeth Canales looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Abigail Watson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Karis Flannery, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
