Lincoln Southwest's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Fremont as they made off with a 10-0 victory.
Kinley Wubbels looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lincoln Southwest let Ja'Sara Wilson and Brenly Noerrlinger run wild. Wilson went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI, while Noerrlinger went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Noerrlinger a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenly Trautman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Lincoln Southwest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Millard North faced Omaha Westside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mustangs blew past the Warriors 23-0. The Mustangs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Tenley Kampbell was a standout: she fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. Macey Jarose was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
Millard North's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Lincoln Southwest, their victory bumped their record up to 25-2.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Lincoln Southwest has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.5 hits per game. However, it's not like Millard North struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
