After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kennedy Catholic, Mercer was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 49-42 victory over the Reynolds Raiders. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Mercer's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Reynolds, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mercer will challenge Sharpsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reynolds, they will face off against Farrell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Reynolds is facing Farrell at the right time seeing as Farrell is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
