Softball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-7 to the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines. That's two games in a row now that the Sailors have lost by exactly eight runs.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Dike-New Hartford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat Columbus by a score of 9-1 later that day.
