Football Game Preview: Tri-State Crusaders King's Crusaders vs. Waldron Mohawks

The Tri-State Crusaders King's Crusaders will head out on the road to take on the Waldron Mohawks at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tri-State Crusaders comes in on four and Waldron on eight.

Tri-State Crusaders is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 36-12 margin over Dugger Union. The result was nothing new for the King's Crusaders, who have now won seven contests by 24 points or more so far this season.

Rylan Kolb produced another solid performance rushing for 173 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries. Those 173 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Kylen Zimmerman, who rushed for 79 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Tri-State Crusaders' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB 3.5 times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Zimmerman, Dj Graber, and Layton Kolb, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, Waldron faced Indiana School for the Deaf in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mohawks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Deaf Hoosiers 52-6. 52 seems to be a good number for the Mohawks as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Tri-State Crusaders' victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Waldron, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Tri-State Crusaders came up short against Waldron in their previous matchup back in September, falling 22-16. Can the King's Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
