While New Hanover's victory against North Brunswick wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Scorpions on Tuesday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scorpions, too.

New Hanover wouldn't go down easily and took North Brunswick into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 20-25, 23-25, 15-12.

The victory got New Hanover back to even at 3-3. As for North Brunswick, they moved to 3-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Hanover will challenge Cape Fear Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hurricanes will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Brunswick, they will square off against Topsail at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
