San Marino hasn't had much luck against Monrovia recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The San Marino Titans will head out to face off against the Monrovia Wildcats at 4:00 p.m.
San Marino is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against La Canada, falling 7-4. The matchup was a close 4-3 at the break, but unfortunately for the Titans it sure didn't stay that way.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Monrovia's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. Neither they nor La Canada could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Wildcats happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 17, 2024.
Their goal came courtesy of Alex Orozco, who's now up to six this season.
Monrovia's draw gives them a new season record of 7-3-3. As for San Marino, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
