Baseball Recap: Pace Academy's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Pace Academy suffered their closest defeat since February 22nd on Thursday. They fell just short of the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears by a score of 8-6. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Miles Mador was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Pace Academy is 9-2 when Mador posts two or more runs, but 1-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Tyson Dawson, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Pace Academy's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
