Basketball Recap: Mira Loma's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Mira Loma can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They snuck past the Johnson Warriors with a 40-34 win. The Matadors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Mira Loma's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Johnson, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Mira Loma will take on Burbank in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Burbank will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mira Loma surely won't give up without a fight. Johnson and Sacramento will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
