Baseball Game Preview: Woodland Wolfpack vs. Eagle's Landing Eagles

Woodland is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Eagle's Landing a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Woodland Wolfpack will look to defend their home field against the Eagle's Landing Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Woodland came up short against Locust Grove on Friday, falling 14-1.

Damian Gibson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Eagle's Landing lost 12-2 to Union Grove on Friday.

Eagle's Landing saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rell French, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Eagle's Landing's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.
