Football Recap: Teaneck Takes a Loss

The matchup between Teaneck and River Dell on Friday hardly resembled the 27-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Highwaymen had to suffer through a 45-17 loss at the hands of the Golden Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Highwaymen have suffered since October 10, 2024.

Although Teaneck took the loss, they still got scores from Kevin Randolph and Deyton Walcott.

This is the second loss in a row for Teaneck and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for River Dell, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Teaneck is set to challenge their familiar foe Paramus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, River Dell will face off against rival Pascack Valley on Friday.
