The Therrell Panthers will take on the North Clayton Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Therrell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
On Monday, Therrell was able to grind out a solid win over Drew, taking the game 9-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.
Raysean Eberhart made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Therrell is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Eberhart was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

In other pitching news, Therrell got a great performance from Jaylen Dumas as he struck out 12 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. Those 12 strikeouts gave Dumas a new career-high.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on DJ Robinson, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Chase Gray was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
North Clayton kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 19-1 to Forest Park. The Eagles have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Therrell's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for North Clayton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Therrell was able to grind out a solid win over North Clayton when the teams last played back in February of 2025, winning 9-4. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
