            The Howard Huskies will venture away from home to  square off against the Baldwin Braves  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Howard has given up an average of 4.4  goals per game this season, but Thursday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
In Tuesday's  Canine Competition, Howard had to take the L. They lost  5-2 to Harlem on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Howard were already down  4-1.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Baldwin). They blew past Hephzibah 8-5 on Wednesday. The  victory continues a trend for Baldwin in their matchups with Hephzibah: they've now won six in a row.
Baldwin's offense was hitting Hephzibah from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.  Joseph Teasley led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.
 Howard's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Baldwin, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
 Howard took their  victory against Baldwin  when the teams last played  back in February by a conclusive  6-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
