Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Fairfield's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Fairfield won the last time they faced Knoxville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 10-7.

Fairfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-14 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Knoxville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Looking ahead, Fairfield will face off against Davis County on Thursday. The Trojans are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Knoxville, they will head out to challenge Gilbert on Thursday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
