Baseball Recap: Waterloo East's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Waterloo East was forced to take a big defeat against Marshalltown on Thursday, they got the better of them on Thursday. The Trojans never let the Bobcats get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Marshalltown, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Waterloo East will welcome Waterloo West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshalltown, they will take on Grundy Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
