Soccer Recap: Ramona Takes a Loss

Ramona managed to keep up with Jurupa Valley until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Ramona Rams came up short against the Jurupa Valley Jaguars, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in January.

Their goal came courtesy of Alexis Martinez, who's now up to six this season.

Ramona now has a losing record at 6-7-1. As for Jurupa Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7-2 record this season.

Ramona wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Rubidoux on the 3rd. As for Jurupa Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against Patriot on the 3rd.
