Basketball Recap: Mifflinburg Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Mifflinburg challenged Bloomsburg on Monday. The Mifflinburg Wildcats took a 46-31 bruising from the Bloomsburg Panthers.

Bloomsburg was led to victory by Delaney Zentner and Ally Bang. Zentner went 5 of 11 en route to 15 points and three steals, while Bang posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Teagan Serrano, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 12 points.

Mifflinburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Bloomsburg, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Mifflinburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-20 loss against Lewisburg on the 22nd. As for Bloomsburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-21 victory against Warrior Run on the 22nd.
