Basketball Game Preview: Lititz Christian Eagles vs. Dayspring Christian Academy Warriors

The Lititz Christian Eagles and the Dayspring Christian Academy Warriors will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lititz Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Mount Calvary Christian on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lititz Christian was outmatched by Mount Calvary Christian and fell 50-23. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Najya Vega, who posted seven points and six steals.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Dayspring Christian Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 45-27 victory over Conestoga Christian on Monday. The score was all tied up 19-19 at the break, but the Warriors were the (much) better team in the second half.

Dayspring Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lititz Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
