Baseball Recap: Marion County Takes a Loss

Marion County's last matchup with Schley County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. Marion County lost 14-2 to Schley County. The Eagles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Marion County's record now sits at 6-14-1. As for Schley County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Marion County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Taylor County at 5:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Schley County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Schley County Wildcats duke it out with Chattahoochee County Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They are facing Chattahoochee County at the right time seeing as Chattahoochee County is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
