Edison is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Marina on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Edison had to suffer through a 69-29 loss at the hands of Marina. The Chargers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-19.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 26-26 at halftime, Fountain Valley was not quite Los Alamitos' equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 53-51. The defeat continues a trend for the Barons in their matchups with the Griffins: they've now lost six in a row.

Edison's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Fountain Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
