It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jackson had no problem doing just that on Friday. They beat the Pike County Pirates by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for Jackson, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Alejandro Roudales Zelaya and Jared Davis scored both of Jackson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Jackson's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Pike County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-6 record.

As of now, neither Jackson nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
