Soccer Recap: Lindhurst Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Lindhurst was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against the Golden Sierra Grizzlies, falling 5-1. The Blazers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Lindhurst's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 16-5. As for Golden Sierra, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lindhurst will face off against Highlands at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Highlands is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3 goals per game this season. As for Golden Sierra, they will square off against Mesa Verde at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
