Soccer Game Preview: College Park vs. Miramonte

The College Park Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Miramonte Matadors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. College Park's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Miramonte will have to contend with a College Park team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen since December 19. College Park fell just short of Benicia by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Miramonte was forced to settle for a draw. They and Campolindo finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

Jordan Mathews and Olivia Penney scored both of Miramonte's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

With that draw, Miramonte's record moves to 6-5-1. As for College Park, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-7.

College Park suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Miramonte in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can College Park avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
