Softball Recap: Claxton Comes Up Short

Claxton came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-3 to the Pinewood Christian Patriots. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost eight in a row.

Claxton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pinewood Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-10.

Claxton has already played their next matchup, a 20-14 loss against Screven County on the 23rd. As for Pinewood Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Savannah Christian on the 23rd.
