Baseball Recap: Eagle's Landing Eagles vs. Woodland Wolfpack
Eagle's Landing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Woodland Wolfpack, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Wednesday.
Caden Abrams was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in March.
Eagle's Landing's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Woodland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-16.
