Basketball Recap: Dawson School Mustangs vs. Heritage Christian Eagles

Dawson School lost against Heritage Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dawson School Mustangs lost 71-51 to the Heritage Christian Eagles.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trey Larsen, who posted six points and five assists. Shan Amin also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Even though they lost, Dawson School smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage Christian only pulled down seven offensive rebounds.

Heritage Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alec Lundy, who shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 boards. Lundy's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.
