Basketball Recap: Franklin Regional Takes a Loss

If Franklin Regional was riding high fresh off their 57-17 takedown of Armstrong last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Franklin Regional Panthers were outmatched by the Shaler Area Titans and fell 51-22. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since December 2, 2024.

Franklin Regional's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 11-1 and their overall record down to 13-6. As for Shaler Area, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Franklin Regional nor Shaler Area have any future games scheduled.
