Baseball Game Preview: North Springs Spartans vs. Tucker Tigers

The North Springs Spartans will challenge the Tucker Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. North Springs has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

This is the second loss in a row for North Springs and nudges their season record down to 9-17. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Tucker, their loss dropped their record down to 8-20.

North Springs took their win against Tucker in their previous matchup last Thursday by a conclusive 15-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
