Softball Recap: Auburn's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Auburn blew Cameron out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Cameron got their revenge. The Bulldogs wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since October 5, 2024.

Auburn saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kollins Wehenkel, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

With the defeat, Auburn broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-6. As for Cameron, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Auburn will head out to take on Westview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cameron, they will be playing at home against Chillicothe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
