After losing to Ogilvie the last time they met, Cromwell decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cardinals blew past the Lions, posting a 48-14 victory. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Drew Nyberg threw for 87 yards and three TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing. Lane Gervais was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Braham Jordan rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.

The win made it two in a row for Cromwell and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points over those games. As for Ogilvie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Cromwell will head out to square off against Bertha-Hewitt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Ogilvie, they will be playing at home against McGregor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Mercuries at the right time seeing as the Mercuries are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
