Basketball Game Preview: Raymond Central Mustangs vs. Milford Eagles

Raymond Central hasn't had much luck against Milford recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 2:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Raymond Central is headed out to face Milford after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Mustangs came out on top against Aquinas by a score of 53-46 on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Monarchs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Milford had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They really took it to Fillmore Central for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-31 victory. With the Eagles ahead 30-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Raymond Central might still be hurting after the 58-35 defeat they got from Milford in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
