If Whitnall was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Shorewood on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Homestead Highlanders on Saturday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Kennedy Dezur paced Whitnall's offense, picking up four kills. Dezur got some help from Gabrielle Wynn and her nine assists. Madisyn Martin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Homestead to victory were Lauren Fitzgibbon and Kennedy Klueger. Fitzgibbon had 11 digs, while Klueger had four digs.

Whitnall's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Homestead, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.
