Soccer Recap: Lynbrook's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Milpitas, Lynbrook was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Monta Vista Matadors 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

They hit Monta Vista with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Ford, Sandhya Kumar, and Zoe Chung.

Lynbrook's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7-2. As for Monta Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynbrook will host MacDonald at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monta Vista has already played their next game (against Cupertino), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
