Baseball Recap: Chatham Comes Up Short

Chatham and Glenvar squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Chatham had to settle for second. They lost 8-0 to the Highlanders. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Cavaliers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chatham's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Glenvar, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Chatham nor Glenvar have any future games scheduled.
