Volleyball Recap: Cholla Takes a Loss

Cholla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Desert Christian Eagles. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.

Cholla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Desert Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Cholla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Rio Rico on the 13th. As for Desert Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Flowing Wells on the 10th.
