Soccer Recap: King Takes a Loss

King lost against Roosevelt back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The King Wolves lost 4-0 to the Roosevelt Mustangs. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Mustangs are ranked 26th).

King has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7-3 record this season. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 13-3-5.

King didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Corona on the 23rd. Roosevelt has also already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Santiago on the 23rd.
